La première question n’est pas le nombre de têtes, c’est le classement du risque : nature des produits, mode et hauteur de stockage.For an industrial site insured by an international group, the sprinkler system is often judged against FM Global data sheets as well as NFPA. The first question is not the number of heads but the hazard classification: what is stored, how, and how high.بالنسبة إلى موقع صناعي تؤمّنه مجموعة دولية، كثيراً ما تُقيَّم شبكة الرش الآلي وفق المذكّرات الفنية لـ FM Global إضافة إلى معايير NFPA. والسؤال الأوّل ليس عدد الرشّاشات، بل تصنيف المخاطر: طبيعة المواد المخزّنة وطريقة خزنها وارتفاعه.

Ce classement fixe la densité d’arrosage, la surface de calcul et donc le débit et la durée exigés de la réserve et du groupe de pompage. Une erreur à cette étape se paie très cher : un réseau sous-dimensionné est refusé, un réseau surdimensionné gaspille des tonnes d’acier et des mètres cubes d’eau.That classification sets the design density, the design area and therefore the flow and duration required from the tank and the fire pump.
